Yokomo takes double win at BRCA Clubmans series

Bedworth were the hosts for round two of the BRCA Clubmans touring series and with the day starting wet it meant qualifying would be round by round with the best two scores to count from three rounds.

With conditions drying as the day wore on and times getting faster the competition really heated up.  In the 17.5 Blinky class it was Mark Bristow who took pole position ahead of Jason Butterfield and Dominic Skinner while in 13.5 Open it was Liam Brooks on pole ahead of Dale Burr and Luke Burr.

In the 17.5 Blinky finals, it was Dominic Skinner that took a win and a second place to seal the overall victory with his Yokomo BD7 2014.  Jakub Plechac took second place overall with Mark Trinder in third.

The 13.5 Open finals saw another win for the Yokomo BD7 2014 as CML/FTD Models driver Liam Brooks took a decisive overall win, taking both legs.  Dale Burr finished second with Andrew Robson in third.  Unlucky fourth was Liam’s fellow Yokomo BD7 2104 CML/FTD Models driver Luke Burr who only lost out on a podium position following an incident not of his own doing.

Well done to all, and watch out for the next BRCA Clubmans round at Eastbourne on the 1st June.
