The futures bright, the futures Brushless
RRci editor Dez Chand has been testing out the real power of brushless motors.
Radio Race Car International are reviewing the RC8 with the Novak HV6.5 brushless conversion kit, powered by twin Reedy 5000mAh Lipo packs. Joining the regulars at the ever popular Coventry club at Baginton for the CMCC Summer series, Dez Chand Qualified 2nd in the A Final among a front row of RC8's driven by local ace's Aidan Compton and RRCi Clubman champion Simon Fennell.
Keeping it clean throughout the ten minute final saw Dez take a historic first victory for a brushless Rally Cross buggy against fierce local competition.
Reversing along pit lane in celebration, the Brushless RC8 attracted a lot of attention, no less for it's lack of pit crew throughout the day and the extended A final!
