Savoya wins Euro Warm up with RB & Proline

Current European Champion Renaud Savoya is looking good for a hat trick of European 1/8th titles after he took victory in very challenging conditions at the EFRA GP/ Warm up meeting held this weekend.

The track was described as "the worst I have ever seen in over 20 years of R/C racing" by Neil Cragg, which from the pictures and videos that have been posted over the weekend looks to be pretty accurate. Some fairly servere holes appeared on the track! During what appeared to be a final of attrition, where only 4 drivers continued without drama, Savoya piloted his car using RB engine and fuel, with Proline tyres, to a comfortable victory. Others challenged, but over the 45 minutes the Savoya/RB/Proline combination was strongest and set him up nicely for the main event in July. 5 of the top 12 finalist were using Pro-Line tyres while 4 were also running an RB engine.
