RPM heads into 24hr endurance
CML backed team RPM heads to the home of motorsport this weekend with a massive 24hrs of racing ahead of them. The team are competing in the 24hrs of Silverstone against some stern competition including the likes of a factory BMW team!
CML back driver Alex Mortimer will be one of three drivers this weekend taking to the wheel day and night over a grueling 24hr race that will see its fair share of incident and drama. The race will not be won by the first corner but by who can keep their nerve and car on the track until midday Sunday!
The teams first 24hr experience is going to be a tough one though with the years of experience their personal have in racing and running their Porsche 996 the team are in good contention in the GT3 class.
With the first qualification over the team are lying 6th out of 52 overall and 3rd in class, we shall report on how the 24hrs go next week!
