Reedy/Savox TQ & Win Masters of Foam 2015
The last weekend before Christmas saw the annual Masters of Foam Race take place in Holland at the permanent Racing Arena Limburg. With around 80 drivers in attendance, the Blinky 10.5 class was the biggest by far.
UK drivers Ollie Payne and Tim Wood made the trip, to go up against some serious European competition.
The pace setter from the off was the Reedy M3/Savox powered Serpent of Wood. A dominant performance saw TQ and the lap record obtained after qualifying. Into the 3 legged finals, Woods M3 powered him to a win and a second resulting in an overall victory. Ollie finished an unlucky but promising for the future fourth.
Tim's car was powered by a Reedy M3 10.5 motor and Savox SH1257MG steering servo - Well done Tim from all at CML!
The next big 1/12 race is the 2016 Reedy 1/12 Race of Champions in January.
