 Reedy 8:11 Series -Rnd 3

With 1 win each it was all to play for between Craig Drescher and Jon Howells at the third round of the 8:11 Series held at the DRCORC.

After a stunning battle at the NDOR track between Howler and Drescher it was the latter, with his updated RC8B, who took an impressive victory at Derby, TQ'ing all 3 rounds of qualifying and taking a stunning victory. Laying it down with his Reedy powered VR/ST engine. Both his car and his engine performed perfectly. Drescher admits "It doesn't get any better than that" and was delight with his race day performance. Continually testing the new and improved additions to the RC8B the car just gets better and better. Craig had this PR blurb to say. "We've been running the car in the new configuration now and it's refreshing to see the car work on both clay and astro with very limited changes compared to the standard RC8B. Even I'm surprised how these small changes can make such a big difference and although I'm an old fart I feel like I can race again and having a car that's improved so much is a huge confidence boost. We are still working on set-ups so by the time all the parts are available we'll have everything nailed down nice and tight" You can download Craig's setup sheet here. Bulldog's rule according to Craig and he's now made the decisions to go doggy style all the way! It's like marmite. You either love it or hate it.
