New Reedy Engine making waves at the World Champs

The IFMAR 1/8th Scale Off-Road World Championship is currently taking place in Thailand and it's the Associated RC8B and Reedy 121VR-ST Engine that are looking the business.

Rounds 1 & 2 of the 2010 1:8 scale IFMAR Worlds are now officially in the history books with Team Associated's Ryan Maifield holding the top qualifier position for both. Ryan is turning fast and super consistent laps with a 14/10:37 in round 1, and a 14/10:35 for round 2! Ryan is using the brand new Reedy 121VR-ST .21 Engine. The 121VR-ST takes performance to an entirely new level with the addition of a balanced ADLC-coated crankshaft, ceramic rear bearing, lightweight piston, and ADLC coated wrist pin. An ultra-lightweight heatsink head with 'diamond cut' fins improves cooling while lowering the center of gravity. Available in December, the 121VR-ST is a race-proven engine that is capable of producing world-class power and fuel economy with a driver-friendly linear power band. Pictures courtesy of NeoBuggy.
