HoBao Mini ST has impressive bark AND bite!

The HoBao Mini ST Hyper 12 proves itself a worthy contender taking pole on a full 1/12th grid at Baginton.

RRCi had the Hyper 12 Mini ST on test and raised a lot of interest at the latest Summer Series round of the CMCC championship at Baginton this weekend. Taking a comfortable pole position as the lone Hyper 12 among a grid of experienced drivers using much modified 1/12th truggies. HoBoa's little monster amazed it's rivals, clearing the triple jump with ease, the kit tyres suiting the grass circuit perfectly with ample grid yet zero grip roll. It was all going well but was halted whilst leading the A final by a collision, but hey that's racing! Dez was running Gen 2 Byron 20% RTR fuel, a #4 Platinum glow plug and utilised the optional FASTRAX bump box for easy starting on race day. The Hyper 12 Mini ST proved very tough on track, and hard to beat in competition, capable of a hot pace even in standard chassis trim. Dez chose to upgrade with an XP1015 steering servo, powered by a lipo receiver pack and regulator, otherwise the chassis, tyres, engine and all geometry settings were exactly as per the box kit.
