Grainger Takes Control
It was a case of total domination for Chris Grainger at round 2 of this years BRCA National Touring Car Championship and another win for the CML/Yokomo driver.
Chris was fastest in all five rounds of qualifying with his Yokomo BD and went on to win all three legs of the A final. This result takes Chris a big step closer to retaining his touring car crown. He adds this result to a maximum score from round one and now looks favorite for this year?s title.
Round 2 of the series took place at the fast open Cotswold track and contrasted greatly with the tight technical track of Aldershot which hosted round one. It showed the Yokomo?s all round performance and ability to dominate at contrasting circuits. Also round one was a mixture of wet and dry conditions where as at Cotswold?s the weather hot and dry. This result confirms the Grainger / Yokomo combination as a formidable force on UK touring car scene and sets new standards of performance.
