Elliott tries new Boots for size!
Associated new signing Elliott Boots ran his RC8 car for the first time this weekend at the SRS race at Westmill.
After some issues in qualifying including a non-counting transponder and a split fuel line, Elliott powered through the C and B finals to make the main final.
Elliot managed to get through the pack and was in a tussle for 2nd/3rd, eventually ending up in 3rd. Elliott was really pleased with the car as they made only small changes from the kit set up and he felt if he had chosen the softer M3 compound tyres for the final he would have been in a position to challenge for the win.
