David Brabham Celebrity Kart Race

The list of entrants included some top names from the world of Motorsport with the likes of Alan Mcnish, Emmnuelle Pirro, Andy Priaulx, Nicolas Minassian, Alex Wurz, Matt Neal, Guy Smith and Darren Turner to name a few. As is usually the way with these events, the minimal contact soon became maximum contact and there were take outs a plenty. At the end of the contest Alex's team the 'Mad Ferreets' picked their way through the carnage to take a very creditable 3rd place overall. The main reason for this event of course is charity, and David Brabhams racing4charity oraganisation helping raise nearly ?60,000 toward Malaria No More, a charity helping to bring an end to Malaria, a preventable disease which kills over one million people every year, the majority being children in Africa. So a fun event raising money for charity, with a good result for our man Alex...can't do better than that!
