Centro Domination!
Talywain in South Wales was the venue for the third round of the BRCA electric off-road series and it saw total domination for the CML/Associated team driving the Centro C4.1...
With four of the pre-production cars in attendance the C4.1 took fastest in all the qualifying rounds and then wins in all three legs of the A final. With the changeable weather giving a mix of wet, drying and an all dry race surface, the car looked fabulous in all conditions. Many racers commented on how sharp and responsive the C4.1 was, yet still looked so easy to drive.
It was Neil Cragg who took the pole position ahead of Paul Bradby in second and Phil Sleigh in third with Tom Yardy having some bad luck during the rounds but still making sixth on the grid. The finals were a joy to watch as these four drivers fought it out at the front with only European Champ Lee Martin able to keep up.
In the end it was Paul who held on tight during the last leg to seal the win ahead of Neil and Phil with Tom doing a great job to come through in fifth. Amazing to see all four cars finish in the top five - Great job Guys!
