Associated L4 takes another win

Round 4 of the BRCA series took the 12th circuit racers to Tamworth, a regular host for the championship, but this time it had moved to a larger venue. The track was big, and with a technical layout it gave one of the longest lap times seen for quite a while.

With four rounds of qualification, it all came down to the final heat, and it was close between CML / Microtech Racing driver Keith and Chris Kerswell until an issue right at the end cost Keith dearly, leaving Chris with TQ and Keith disappointed to be back in fifth ? albeit with the quickest lap. The final saw a good start from Keith to make a spot up at the first corner, then some good fortune as first and second place had a coming together, moving him up to second, and it wasn?t long before he was into the lead. From there he pulled steadily away, the subtle change in ride height made just before the final making the car super-smooth to drive and extremely consistent. Grip was a little lower than previous nationals, so Keith chose the Jaco Prism ?White? compound rear tyres for extra drive and with the Jaco Prism ?Double Pink? front tyres.
