Associated L4?s dominate in Tamworth and Robertson takes first National win

It was dominating performance for the race proven Associated L4 at last weekends BRCA 1:12 national, on Saturday in the 19 turn class L4?s took the top two places and in modified on Sunday it was the L4 again in the hands of UK champion Andy Griffiths that took the overall win

Setting FTD in the 19 turn class on Saturday was CML / Microtech team driver Keith Robertson, the first A final of the weekend was a classic and Keith was in the heart of the action from the buzzer, the lead swapped between four drivers with Olly Jefferies, Mick Farrell and Andy Griffiths all in the hunt for the overall win, for eight minutes the four drivers were locked in an extremely close battle but as the race entered its final few seconds Keith took the lead from Olly and held it to the end making it an L4 1-2 On Sunday on the same track layout the pace hots up with modified and brushless out on track, Keith was right up there again and qualified second behind Andy Griffiths, once again Olly was on the pace and he made it an all L4 top three. Andy Griffiths led the final from start to finish despite pressure from Mick Farrell, at the end Andy took the win in the modified A final with Mick Farrell second and Keith and excellent third.
