Alan Joins Craig in the A

The new Associated TC5 continues to impress with another top three spot at a UK National.

Despite the worry of the heavy rain the fourth round of the BRCA touring car nationals went ahead at the super smooth Snetterton track in Norfolk. Last year Craig Drescher made history at this meeting scoring the first FTD for a brushless powered touring car at a UK national, this year everyone is brushless powered and the pace is faster than ever. Craig was quick in practice and converted that form to third on the grid just ahead of Yokomo driver and CML team mate Chris Grainger, great to see Alan Bickerstaff make his first UK national with his TC5, Alan has been a long time supporter of UK's nationals traveling the vast distance from Ireland for every round, always with a broad smile on his face Alan had reason to pleased this time with an excellent eighth on the grid for the A final. The A final was a classic with great close racing, Craig came home in third with Alan finishing eighth, Chris Grainger had a frustrating day finishing sixth but still leads the series, next stop West London at the end of the month.
