2009 Moto GP

Cotswold will host a bike GP on October 17/18th, for 1/5th, 1/8th solos and Sidecars to a basic and fun set of rules, so everyone with a bike or sidecar can get together and have some fun.

So bring your friends, drag along some rookies and novices and we?ll get them sorted out while having a bundle of fun! Backed by Venom and their UK distributor CML, plus Mtroniks and Mardave, with support from Formby Models and the BRCA Bike section it should prove to be a weekend not to be missed so bring a tent/caravan and don?t miss the party Saturday night! All solo classes will be limited to 2S LiPo or 6 cell NiMh but there will be no minimum weight limit to keep it simple and fun. The 1/5th solo class get a handout G2 Mardave brushed motor, but NO front brakes! The 1/8th solos will be split between front brake ?Open? and non front brake ?Clubman? classes but with no motor or weight restrictions. Sidecars will also use the handout G2 Mardave brushed motor and will be limited to 4 cell NiMh or 1S LiPo. 1 Wheel Drive, 2 channel radio, no gyros or other clever gadgets allowed. The two day format will allow an easy weekend for anyone entering multiple classes. There is no camping Friday night, so practice will commence Saturday morning before Qualifying starts at midday Saturday and runs through Sunday, before the finals on Sunday afternoon. Entry is ?10 plus ?5 for any additional class entered, and is open to all skill levels from Novice to World Champions. Contact the BRCA for more details.
