1/8th Off Road World Championships Jakarta - Indonesia
The Qualifying sessions for the 1/8th Off Road world Championships have been completed in Jakarta. The Ho Bao factory team have all performed with distinction.
Drivers Jeremy Kortz (USA), Robert Batlle (Spain), Joseph Quaqraine (Finland), Jerome Aigoin (France) and Greg Degani (USA) all placed their cars in the top 14 which puts them straight into the semi-finals.
The breakdown of chassis in the top 14 is as follows
Ho Bao x 5
Mugen x 5
Kyosho x 1
XRAY x 2
Jammin x 1
This shows that the Hyper 8 is dealing with the tough conditions better than the competition.
Mark Pavidis of Proline qualified in 1st position.
CML sponsored Jon Hazelwood placed his Proline/Byron XRAY car in 14th and straight into the semi's, well done Jon.
The finals begin tomorrow with the main finals taking place on sunday.
